Surya Tilak Brightens Ram Lalla Idol’s Forehead at Ayodhya Temple on Ram Navami

On Wednesday, April 17, the sun’s beams, known as “Surya Tilak,” lighted the forehead of the Lord Ram Lalla statue at the Ayodhya Temple in observance of Ram Navami. Mirrors and lenses worked in a complex process to enable the deity’s “Surya tilak.” On Tuesday, the scientists tested the system. Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Ram idol at the Ayodhya temple on January 22, this was the first Ram Navami. A prominent scientist from the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee, a division of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has stated that the intended tilak size is 58 mm. According to him, the precise duration of the tilak in the center of the forehead was between three and three and a half minutes, during which there was double illumination.

Anil Mishra, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, had earlier stated, “Devotees would be allowed inside the Ram temple during the Surya tilak.” The government is installing 50 LED displays, and the temple trust is erecting over 100 LED screens to display the Rama Navami celebrations. The festivities will be visible to everyone from wherever they are. Following the wonderful pran pratishtha ceremony, the Ram Janmabhoomi is seeing a tremendous celebration for the second time. At Ram Mandir, 56 varieties of bhog, prasad, and panjiri are being offered as part of the grand celebration of Ram Navami.

The main priest of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Acharya Satyendra Das, stated that the Trust is in charge of all the celebration plans and that Ram Navami is being observed with great fervor. The top priest went on to say that everything had been decorated and that Lord Ram’s idol had been carefully attired for the occasion: “He is bathed with Panchamrit after being dressed in yellow clothes.” In addition to 56 other kinds of gifts presented to the Lord, four to five different kinds of panjiris are created.”

On its official X handle, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, a trust established to oversee the administration of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya, shared images of priests performing Ramlalla Sarkar’s Divya Abhisheka at the temple. On this day, the trust also shared images of Lord Rama’s Divya Shringar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier wished the Eid pleasantries on his official X handle. “My deepest sympathies to my kin throughout the nation on this anniversary of Lord Shri Ram’s birth, Ram Navami! This important occasion fills my heart with so much fulfillment. With the utmost grace of Shri Ram, I witnessed the Pran-Pratishtha in Ayodhya this year among millions of my fellow citizens. The excitement from that Avadhpuri moment still pulses in my memory,” Modi remarked.

“Our Ram Lalla has taken the throne at the magnificent and hallowed Ram temple of Ayodhya on this first Ram Navami. Ayodhya is experiencing unmatched happiness as it celebrates Rama Navami today. We now have the honor of commemorating Ram Navami in Ayodhya in this way, after having to wait for five centuries. This is the result of many years of arduous penance, sacrifice, and national sacrifice,” Modi continued. Wednesday morning saw a crowd of devotees descend into Ram Mandir in a colorful demonstration of their faith and joy. Before entering the temple, worshippers bathed in the sacred waters of the Saryu River. At 3:30 a.m., the temple had begun its darshan. The festival is aired across the city on roughly 100 LED screens. Additionally, a broadcast will be made on the trust’s social media platforms.

Delhi High Court Denies Plea to Disqualify PM Modi from Contesting Polls for Six Years

Delhi High Court Denies Plea to Disqualify PM Modi from Contesting Polls for Six Years

On Monday, the Delhi High Court denied a request to bar Prime Minister Narendra Modi from running for office for six years.

In response to allegations that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had violated the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) by allegedly soliciting votes in the name of “god and place of worship” during a recent speech in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, the Delhi High Court on Monday rejected a plea that sought to bar Modi from running for office ever again for six years. The plea has no merit, according to the Supreme Court.

The petitioner had contacted the court while the Election Commission had not yet made a decision regarding his representation, and the judge believed that the plea was “thoroughly misconceived.”

The petitioner assumes that the MCC has been broken. This is irrational. According to the ruling, a bench of Judge Sachin Datta rejected the plea because it lacked merit.

The prime minister was recently accused by the Congress of being an “infiltrator” against Muslims during a vote rally in Rajasthan, leading to a complaint being filed with the Election Commission.

“According to the Congress manifesto, they would share the property after calculating the gold with mothers and sisters and gathering information about it. They’ll give it to the following person: Modi had stated that Muslims had the primary claim to the nation’s resources, as stated by the government of Manmohan Singh.

“Muslims have the first claim to the nation’s resources, according to statements made before by their (the Congress) administration. In other words, who will receive this property? The people with the most children will receive it. It will be given out to the spies. Should the infiltrators receive your hard-earned money? Do you think this is okay? He continued.

Pro-Khalistan Slogans Raised During PM Justin Trudeau’s Speech in Canada: Watch Video

As Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau approached the Sikh community on Sunday at an event in Toronto to address them, the audience let out loud pro-Khalistan chants. The prime minister of Canada declared at the gathering that his government will always “protest” the “rights and freedoms” of the Sikh population in the nation. At the Khalsa Day Parade in downtown Toronto, Justin Trudeau was speaking to a crowd. “We will always be there to protect your rights and freedoms, and we will always defend your community against hatred and discrimination,” he declared, addressing the almost 800,000 Canadians of Sikh descent. One of Canada’s greatest assets, according to Justin Trudeau, is its variety; the nation’s strength comes from its differences, not from them.

“The variety of Canada is one of its biggest assets. Trudeau stated, “We are strong, not despite, but because of our differences. But, even as we acknowledge these differences, we must never forget that Sikh values are Canadian values, especially on days like today and every day.” Additionally, the PM of Canada stated that “adding more security at community centers and places of worship, including Gurdwaras,” is one way the nation is improving infrastructure and security initiatives.

It is your right to freely and intimidation-freely practice your faith. Trudeau promised, “We will always stand up and defend you for a fundamental right guaranteed in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.” On the other hand, while Trudeau speaks in a video that CPAC posted on YouTube, there is an audible chanting in the background that supports Khan. “We understand that many of you have loved ones you would like to see more often, which is why our government has negotiated a new agreement with India to add more flights and more routes between our countries, and we will keep working with our counterparts to add even more flights, including to Amritsar,” Trudeau said as he continued his speech.

The Sikh New Year and the establishment of the Sikh community in 1699 are commemorated on Vaisakhi, also known as Khalsa Day, according to the Ontario Sikhs and Gurdwaras Council (OSGC). The group has been planning an annual march down Lake Shore Boulevard for many years; according to CBC News, the council claims it is the third-largest parade in the country and that thousands of people typically attend. The timing of Trudeau’s speech coincides with a challenging period in Canada-Indian diplomatic ties. India and Canada are at odds over the death of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was identified by India. Nijjar was shot and murdered on the evening of June 18, 2023, as he left a Gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia. Nijjar was classified as a terrorist by the National Investigation Agency in 2020.
