World Cup 2023: India Vs Pakistan Clash might be rescheduled.

The opening day of the Navratri celebrations in Ahmedabad may force the ODI World Cup’s highly anticipated India-Pakistan match to be played on October 14 instead of October 13, which could cause logistical difficulties for the spectators.

Last month, the BCCI and the International Cricket Council (ICC) released the World Cup schedule. The headline match was given to Ahmedabad’s largest stadium.

Following the publication of the schedule, hotel and airfare costs for Ahmedabad surged, and if the game is in fact shifted by a day, the supporters’ plight is sure to get worse.

The security authorities have recommended that the big game, which will also require a huge deployment of security officers, be rescheduled because October 15 falls on the first day of Navratri celebrations, a BCCI source informed PTI.

If a date change is required, the ICC and BCCI will need to meet to make the decision.

According to sources close to the ICC, “Further discussion is necessary, and we’ll inform of any modifications, when we can. Although the game won’t leave the Narendra Modi Stadium, PTI has learned that the supporters would still need to reschedule their travel arrangements.

India’s first World Cup game is planned for October 8 in Chennai against Australia, while Pakistan’s first two games are set for October 6 and 12 in Hyderabad.

The Babar Azam-led team may suffer as a result of the Indo-Pak game being moved up a day because they would have less time to prepare for the important match.

Rahul Dravid’s Inspirational Boost Sparks Shubman Gill Remarkable Comeback from Brink of Dropping

On Day 4 of the fourth Test match between India and England, Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel had to perform above expectations in order to guide the hosts to a five-wicket win in Ranchi. India needed to chase 192 runs, and after 18 overs, openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal had already scored 84 of that total. However, when Gill was joined in the middle by Jurel, there was an unexpected burst of wickets, meaning that England had the upper hand.

But the two maintained their composure as they pushed for the objective. Known for his consistency in both ODI and T20I cricket, Gill collected powerful strokes and came dangerously close to reaching his fifty without hitting a boundary. Without striking a four or a six, the Indians actually bowled for more than thirty overs. Gill and Jurel’s combination saw India through to the finish line as they finished unbeaten on 72 off 136 balls.

Cheteshwar Pujara and India’s head coach Rahul Dravid, who both notably claimed the No. 3 spot, were compared to Gill after his innings. Following the game, the 24-year-old shared an encouraging remark on Instagram, citing Dravid as the source. Who would it be if not you? In the quote, it says, “If not now, then when?”

They had trouble rotating strikes at first, but later they began to locate gaps more frequently. Gill reached his half-century in 123 deliveries after hitting two sixes in three balls and scoring 39 runs in 119 balls.
