What might possibly fail? The Oscars team is ready for anything following the Will Smith smack

What might possibly fail? The Oscars team is ready for anything following the Will Smith smack
The 95th Academy Awards are set for this Sunday, but organizers are bracing for the unexpected after Will Smith’s infamous slap of Chris Rock left Hollywood’s biggest awards show in a state of disarray the previous year. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has established a crisis squad for the first time to handle any catastrophes.
In a recent interview with Time magazine, Academy CEO Bill Kramer said, “It is our hope that we will be prepared for anything. “Thanks to last year, we’ve become more open-minded about the wide range of potential Oscars outcomes.”
After confronting Rock on stage over a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, Rock was given the best actor award, and the film academy received harsh criticism for allowing Smith to accept the award while still in the crowd.
The company has not provided information on the crisis team’s composition or its potential response to anything out of the usual. Smith is not going to be there. For ten years, he was not permitted to attend the occasion.
Janet Yang, the president of the Academy, said during a luncheon for nominees in February that the institution had learnt how to respond “swiftly, compassionately, and decisively” in times of crisis and that “you should and may expect no less from us going forward.”
The Dolby Theatre, where the ceremony is held, has strict security. The red carpet and theatre are surrounded by many blocks that are closed off by law enforcement.
The show’s producers, Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, expressed their desire to continue highlighting the year’s nominated films and the people who helped make them come to life. Nobody, according to Weiss, is particularly trying to focus too much on what has already occurred.

Salman Khan, a dancer, recounts a terrifying incident at the Bengaluru airport .”If You Can’t Speak Kannada…”

Salman Yusuff Khan, a dancer and choreographer, shared his terrible encounter with an immigration official at the Bangalore airport on Instagram on Wednesday. Mr. Khan claimed in a video that an immigration official at the Kempegowda International Airport harassed him because he “didn’t know the Kannada language despite being born in the city.” When he was travelling to Dubai on Wednesday, the incident took place.
In the video, Mr. Khan claimed that only the immigration officer at the Bengaluru International Airport urged him to speak Kannada. He added that while knowing the language well, he wasn’t proficient because he spent most of his childhood in Saudi Arabia.
“@kempegowdainternationalairport.. on my way to Dubai and I meet this immigration officer who speaks to me in Kannada.. and I in my broken Kannada try to tell him that I understand the language but can’t speak so well to which he continues to speak in Kannada and shows me my passport and points out my name and my birthplace and my father’s name and his birthplace and has the audacity to tell me that.. you and your father are born in Bangalore.
Although the choreographer revealed to the officer that he is fluent in Hindi, the officer continued to assert that he could “suspect” him “for anything,” the choreographer said.
“I told him that I knew my country’s national language Hindi, why should I know Kannada,” he continued. What does he still suspect me of? I questioned. He then adds. I can assume anything about you… I commanded: TEST ME. and increased volume a little before repeating TRY ME three times. To which he remained silent. I informed him that our nation will never advance as long as uneducated individuals like you remain here.
He went on to say that he attempted to report the incident to the airport authorities, but that he received no assistance.
“PS: I am a proud Bangalorean but what I’ve endured today is unacceptable,” he wrote as his final statement. You should never belittle someone for not knowing the local language or bring up your parents’ names in the process. On Instagram, the video has gotten a variety of responses.

Abdu was recently asked about Mandali and responded with a smile that it was over. Abdu had declared that his friendship with Shiv Thakare would last forever and that he was in love with Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia.
In the Bigg Boss house, phoney friendship and love angles are frequently discussed in order to maintain one’s survival. Having said that, Bigg Boss is a reality programme, and in order to keep sane, one needs friends or other relationships. But, when you leave the house, you may not actually need those buddies, and it appears that Mandali is preoccupied with their various careers. Nonetheless, some of the connections created within the Bigg Boss house endure a lifetime. Three such connections are between Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill, Karan Kundrra, and Tejaswi Prakash.
Fans recently witnessed the mandali reunion at MC Stan’s live performance when Shiv Thakare, Sumbul Touqeer, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia were spotted together and having as much fun as they had at home. Nimrit also mentioned that not everyone from Mandali will always be available for each other, but that they do meet together solely in their houses. So does Abdu Rozik’s declaration that mandali is over indicate he has cut ties with them now?
