On Humans of Bombay, he related his experience of being mistaken for the cricketer and expressed his desire to at least once meet Kohli to inform him that he is a fan. Despite the fact that he is Kartik Sharma, he is frequently solicited for selfies by individuals who mistake him for Virat Kohli.

Although I understand what you’re thinking, I’m not Virat Kohli. I’m a software developer named Kartik Sharma, and I’m from Haryana. However, everywhere I go, people flock around to take my photo. Cricket is my actual passion, and Virat Kohli is my hero, despite the fact that I was unable to create a profession out of it. I’m hoping I’ll get to meet him someday and realise my dream!” Check out the caption.
