Watch: Rahul Gandhi says that Modi is capable of confusing even God.

Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi, the former head of the Congress, mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi in San Francisco by joking that if Modi were seated next to God, he would begin to explain how the universe functions.

Rahul Gandhi said, “I think if you set Modi ji down next to God, he would start explaining to God how the universe works,” during a six-day tour to the US. And what I had accomplished would puzzle God. The former Wayanad Lok Sabha MP added that a handful of people who are “absolutely convinced” and suffer from “disease” of thinking they are infallible are in charge of India.

By asserting that some Indian groups have the “disease” of believing they are experts in everything, Rahul Gandhi made fun of Prime Minister Modi. It has been a tradition in India from the time of (Mahatma) Gandhi Ji and Guru Nanak Ji that you shouldn’t assume you know everything  He added that mediocrity is at the root of all of this and that this group of people doesn’t genuinely comprehend anything.

Rahul Gandhi has brought up India in the US, according to Virendra Vashistha, secretary of the Indian Overseas Congress. The Prime Minister has produced 101 episodes of “Mann Ki Baat,” whereas Rahul Gandhi has produced “Jan Ki Baat,” which he listens to wherever he goes in both India and the US.

CBI Summons Akhilesh Yadav as Witness in 2019 Mining Case Investigation

CBI Summons Akhilesh Yadav as Witness in 2019 Mining Case Investigation

In a 2019 investigation into the suspected illicit mining of minor minerals in the Hamirpur district, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav, according to sources acquainted with the matter on Wednesday. Yadav has been invited by the agency to testify as a “witness” before it on Thursday, according to officials. Under Section 160 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), a summons has been issued in order to record witnesses or anyone with knowledge of specific statements.

To look into claims of unlawful mining of minor minerals in Hamirpur district, the federal agency filed a case in January 2019 against 11 people, including B Chandrakala, an IAS official from Uttar Pradesh, former SP leader Ramesh Kumar Mishra, and Sanjay Dixit, who ran for state office in 2017 on the BSP ticket. As part of its seven preliminary inquiries (PEs) filed in 2017 after the Allahabad High Court’s decision, the agency was looking into illicit mining in the districts of Shamli, Hamirpur, Saharanpur, Deoria, Fatehpur, Siddharth Nagar, and Kaushambi in Uttar Pradesh. Three full investigative reports (FIRs) were filed in January 2019.

The function of the then-mining ministers in question throughout the pertinent era may be examined during the case inquiry, according to the CBI’s FIR. Between 2012 and 2016, it has been alleged that state government officials colluded with private individuals in the alleged illicit mining of minor minerals by awarding new leases, extending those that already existed, and allowing the current leaseholders to have an obstructed period, all without adhering to the e-tendering procedure that the UP government had mandated in its order dated May 31, 2012.

To commit theft and extort money from leaseholders and the drivers of the vehicles transporting the minor minerals—stones, gravel, clay, and sand, which are classified as government property under the Mines and Minerals (development and regulation) Act of 1957—the accused parties permitted the excavation of minor minerals as part of their conspiracy. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) had banned mining, but the CBI claimed that all of this was still being done.

Gaganyaan Mission: Modi Reveals Names of Four Astronauts

The identities of four pilots training for the country’s historic “Gaganyaan” human spaceflight program were made public by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. The pilots are Group Captain P Balakrishnan Nair, Wing Commander S Shukla, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, and Group Captain Angad Pratap. The four astronaut-designates also received “astronaut wings” from the PM. “I’m happy I got to meet these astronauts and present them to the country today. Let me extend my congratulations to them on behalf of the entire country. Prime Minister Modi said, “You are the pride of today’s India,” in his speech.

He went on to say, “India’s accomplishments in the space industry are raising the young people in the country with a scientific temperament.” At Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala’s Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), Prime Minister Modi made a brief visit to the Gaganyaan Mission development. S. Somanath, the chairman of ISRO, Federal Minister Muraleedharan, and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan stand next to him.

About the Gaganyaan mission

The first manned space mission from India, Gaganyaan, is scheduled to launch in 2024 or 2025. After a three-day mission in a 400-kilometer orbit, the project intends to safely return a three-person crew to Earth by landing in Indian Ocean waters. An ISRO press release states that the mission is carried out using an optimal plan that considers the intellectual ability of university and research institutions, industry expertise, internal knowledge, and cutting-edge technology accessible to international organizations.

The human rating of ISRO’s CE20 cryogenic engine was successfully finished last week, greatly assisting India’s attempt to launch the mission. On February 13, 2024, ISRO completed the final round of ground qualification testing, marking a major advancement towards the human rating of its CE20 cryogenic engine. The human-rated LVM3 launch vehicle, designed for the Gaganyaan missions, has a cryogenic stage powered by a CE20 engine. The ISRO stated in a statement that the last test was the eighth in a series of vacuum ignition experiments that were conducted at the High Altitude Test Facility at To simulate flight conditions, the ISRO Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri, is being used.

Enforcement Directorate Sends 8th Summons to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

In connection with the money laundering investigation involving the excise policy, the Enforcement Directorate has sent Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal his eighth summons. The AAP leader had ignored the seven prior summonses. According to reports, the agency has requested that Arvind Kejriwal appear before it on March 4. Kejriwal disregarded the seventh summons on Monday, stating that he would only appear before the Enforcement Directorate at the court’s request.

Kejriwal has been the target of a court case in Delhi brought by the Enforcement Directorate since he has ignored multiple summonses in the last few months. In response to the seventh summons, the Aam Aadmi Party stated that it was being pressured by the BJP-led central government to leave the Congress-led India alliance. The next hearing on the case is set for March 16 in the judicial system. Rather than delivering these summonses daily, ED needs to await the court’s directive. The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) is something we will not abandon, and the federal government ought not to exert such undue pressure on us, the statement read.

Kejriwal ignored the agency on November 2 and December 22 of last year, as well as on January 3, January 18, February 2, and February 19. He claims the summons is unlawful and politically motivated. Arvind Kejriwal was excused from personally appearing in connection with the Enforcement Directorate’s case by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court last week, with an extension until March 16. He had previously stated that the Delhi Assembly’s budget session prevented him from being present in person. He made a virtual appearance before the court.

According to Kejriwal, the BJP intended to sever ties with Goa, Gujarat, Delhi, and Haryana before the Lok Sabha elections. AAP minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has previously stated that the ED ought to await the court’s decision. “The CM did not approach the court; the ED did,” AAP leader Atishi had stated. Why don’t they wait for the ruling from the court? Their motivation is to bother us rather than debate legality or illegality. If ED was concerned about legality, it would watch for the legal system to work out.”
