Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Exam: Solver Gang Busted, 2 Constables and 20 Others Arrested

According to an official, the Uttar Pradesh Police detained two constables and twenty members of the “Solver Gang” who were taking the police recruitment exam. “Up to now, 19–20 people have been arrested,” stated Kumar Ran Vijay Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural). Those who were brought in as problem solvers from Bihar include some of these individuals. A Patna citizen in Bihar goes by the name of Dipu Yadav. Here, he was involved with the Shikohabad gang and worked as a conduit. Additionally, two of the five persons detained from Shikohabad are constables, according to Kumar Ran Vijay Singh, the Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural).

“Shikohabad has seen the arrest of five persons; two of them are constables… They both live in Shikohabad. Three to four people had appeared for the exam, and Constable Niranjan had taken ₹3 lakh from each of them in exchange. We stopped Constable Anuj before he could take the test for a man named Sumit, according to Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Singh. “Legal action is being pursued, and we possess all the necessary evidence. According to the Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Singh, “all of these people will go to jail.” More information is anticipated. The Yogi Adityanath administration announced earlier on December 23, under the banner of “Mission Rozgar,” the greatest police recruitment in the state’s history. The recruitment of more than 60,000 unfilled constable positions in the Uttar Pradesh Police has been anticipated by the state’s youth.

In all districts, 2,385 examination centers had been set up, and 48,17,441 candidates had shown up to take the test. The UP Constable Civil Police Direct Recruitment Examination was held under strict security measures that the Uttar Pradesh government had put in place. Every exam center had magistrates stationed there, and depending on the volume of applicants at each location, police officers serving as center supervisors ranged from Deputy Superintendent of Police to Sub Inspector.

On February 17 and 18, exams were administered for these posts at 2385 locations throughout the state’s 75 districts.

Supreme Court Allows Abortion for 14-Year-Old Pregnant Rape Survivor

Supreme Court Allows Abortion for 14-Year-Old Pregnant Rape Survivor

The 14-year-old rape survivor was granted permission by the Supreme Court to have an abortion on Monday, even though the girl’s physical and mental health may be at risk if the pregnancy continues past 29 weeks. “These are extremely rare situations where we must safeguard the children. Every minute that passes is extremely significant for her,” a bench chaired by Chief Justice of India Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud declared, ordering the minor’s safe abortion. The bench, which included Justice JB Pardiwala, convened late Friday night beyond regular court hours. They ordered Mumbai’s Sion Hospital to investigate right away if the girl’s or the fetus’s physical or mental health could be in danger if the pregnancy is carried out, and they asked for a report by Monday, April 22.

After the Bombay High Court on April 4 rejected the girl’s mother’s appeal for a medical termination of the pregnancy, the girl’s mother hurried to the Supreme Court. Aishwarya Bhati, the Center’s additional solicitor general, sought the bench’s exceptional powers under Article 142 on Monday in order to bring the case to a full conclusion. She did this by citing a medical assessment that indicated the minor’s well-being may be affected by the continuation of the pregnancy. The court acknowledged her plea and used its authority under Article 142 to order the minor’s pregnancy to be immediately terminated, mentioning the minor’s age and the alleged sexual assault. The bench ordered a team of medical professionals at Sion’s Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital in Mumbai to perform the pregnancy termination, saying, “We set aside the order of the Bombay High Court, bearing in mind the exigency of the situation and the well-being of the minor.”

The Maharashtra government’s legal representative agreed to pay for the procedure’s medical costs. The high court based its April 4 ruling on an analysis of the doctors on the medical board of JJ Hospital in Mumbai. However, the appeal demanded that the Supreme Court get involved, claiming that the girl had not had a thorough examination. The girl’s physical and mental health were not thoroughly evaluated in the medical reports, which the bench pointed out on Friday. Considering the terrible circumstances surrounding the girl’s pregnancy, the bench emphasized the need for such attention.

Chhota Rajan Alive? Underworld Don’s Photo Released After 9 Years

According to the report, the first image of underworld don Chhota Rajan since his nine-year imprisonment appeared on social media, dispelling rumors that he had passed away or was unwell while being held in Delhi’s Tihar Jail. After being detained at the Bali airport and extradited to India in 2015, Chhota Rajan is currently being held in a high-security cell at Tihar’s Jail No. 2. This current image of Chhota Rajan dispels rumors that he passed away in Tihar during the COVID epidemic or from a serious illness. According to the report, the aforementioned photo has also revived concerns about a possible attack on him while he is still inside.

After the 1993 bombings in Mumbai, Chhota Rajan, who was previously a prominent officer in D-Company, fell out with mastermind Dawood Ibrahim. Don Chhota Shakeel has also made numerous death threats against Rajan. Despite Rajan’s presence in Tihar since 2015, the jail authorities have not released an official statement or any information about the crime mastermind to date.

Rumours of Chhota Rajan’s death

Chhota Rajan was hospitalized at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi after testing positive for COVID-19 in April of 2021. There was much conjecture that Rajan had also died from COVID after it was reported that Bihar’s mafia don-turned-politician Shahabuddin had died from the virus. Rajan was attacked in Bangkok in 2000 by the gunmen of Don Chhota Shakeel. The criminal lord was shot several times, which sparked new rumors about his demise. Nevertheless, he managed to survive the assault. Disagreements inside Dawood regarding the carnage that ensued following the terror strikes in Mumbai in 1993 led to its breakup.

A 1994 red corner notice was issued against Rajan, but since his breakup with Dawood, there was conjecture that he was providing federal agents with insider knowledge of the D-Company’s operations. Chhota Rajan was apprehended in 2015 upon his arrival at the Bali airport from Sydney, having eluded capture for almost twenty years. He was allegedly in possession of a passport bearing the name Mohan Kumar, but he eventually revealed to the immigration officials his true name, Rajendra Sadashiv Nikhalke.
