Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell Face Tough IPL Questions Following Smriti Mandhana’s RCB’s WPL Title Triumph

The Royal Challengers Bangalore women won their first WPL trophy in just two years as Smriti Mandhana led her fiery brigade to an easy eight-wicket victory against the Delhi Capitals in Sunday’s final. RCB faltered a little in their chase of 114, but Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh persevered to get their team across the finish line in the final over with three balls left, despite a sluggish start and the loss of openers Mandhana and Sophie Devine after starts.

The former captain of England, Vaughan, added his two cents, saying that he believes the women have set the example and prepared the path for the men of the RCB to follow. “Awesome competition… A well-earned victory for @RCBTweets! The men can now double up! Maybe this year,” he wrote on social media.
