Royal Challengers Bangalore broke a long-time of curse and won their first title over establishment alliances when they beat the Delhi Capitals by eight wickets to claim the moment season of the Women’s Head Alliance at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Unused Delhi on Sunday.

Chasing 114, the Smriti Mandhana-driven Regal Challengers rode on profitable commitments from Sophie Devine and Ellyse Perry to cross the wrap-up line in the final over. Earlier, Shreyanka Patil was the wreaker-in-chief for RCB.

She picked up four scalps and made a difference in her group limit of 113 in 18.3 overs. Sophie Molineux turned the coordinates for the Illustrious Challengers by expelling Shefali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Alice Capsey in a single over. The RCB spinner accounted for nine wickets, the most by any group in WPL history. The Bengaluru-based establishment is, however, hoping to win a title in the Indian Head Alliance.
