Today is the star’s 42nd birthday, and renowned all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja entered the room with what is likely the most romantic birthday greeting for his captain.

Jadeja, who scored the go-ahead runs as CSK won its fifth IPL championship, described Dhoni as his go-to man ever since 2009. The most thrilling aspect of his request was to see Thala wearing CSK Yellow once more since it gave fans more hope that Dhoni would play in the upcoming IPL season.

“Since 2009, he has been my go-to man, forever. A very happy birthday to you, Mahi Bhai. See ya soon in yellow,” Jadeja tweeted.

The CSK captain was observed battling a knee ailment throughout IPL 2023, and after the triumphant conclusion of the season, he had surgery. The CSK captain responded that saying goodbye would be the simple thing for him to do when asked if he will attend the IPL the following year. He would attempt to return to his followers though as he worked on his body.

With a gold medal win in the men’s 10m air pistol team competition and two shooters qualifying for the individual finals, India continued its winning streak at the Asian Games . India won its fourth gold medal from the shooting ranges when the trio of Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema, and Shiva Narwal narrowly defeated the Chinese team to capture the top podium spot. In the women’s 60kg wushu sanda final, India’s Naorem Roshibina Devi finished with a silver medal after losing 0-2 to local heavyweight Wu Xiaowei.

The Indian struggled against Wu Xiaowei, the current winners in the division, which allowed the Chinese to get off to a solid start. Following two rounds, Wu was crowned the victor by the judges. The local favorite had an aggressive opening round and got Roshibina down beautifully in an effort to get her opponent off the mat.

In the round of 16 of the mixed doubles competition, Thailand’s Phakpoom Sanguansin and Orawan Paranang defeat Harmeet Rajul Desai and Sreeja Akula. In the women’s singles round of 32, Manika Batra defeats Nabita Shrestha of Nepal 4-0.
