Infrastructure Projects in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh

A statement from his office said that he would participate in a ceremony in Bina, Madhya Pradesh, and lay the groundwork for projects worth more than Rs 50,700 crore.

A petrochemical complex at the Bina refinery and ten additional industrial projects spread out over the state are among the projects.

He will then visit to the neighboring state of Chhattisgarh to dedicate significant train projects worth roughly Rs 6,350 crore.  Both states must hold assembly elections in November or December.

According to the program’s announcement, he would also distribute one lakh counseling cards for those with sickle cell disease in addition to laying the cornerstone for critical care buildings in nine Chhattisgarh districts.

The new projects in Madhya Pradesh will significantly accelerate the state’s industrial growth, claims the statement.

Modern Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s Bina refinery will produce about 1,200 KTPA (Kilo-Tonnes Per Annum) of ethylene and propylene, which are crucial components for many industries, including textiles, packaging, and pharmaceuticals. The refinery will cost about Rs 49,000 crore to build.

According to the statement, this will lessen India’s reliance on imports and move the nation closer to realizing the prime minister’s vision of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat.”

The mega project would also foster the growth of downstream industries in the petroleum sector and provide employment opportunities.

Modi will also dedicate 10 projects during the event, including a manufacturing zone for power and renewable energy in the Narmadapuram district, two IT parks in Indore, a giant industrial park in Ratlam, and six new industrial zones across Madhya Pradesh.

The opening of significant rail sector projects in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, would support Modi’s commitment on enhancing connectivity throughout the nation, according to the announcement.  These include the Chhattisgarh East Rail Project Phase-I, the third rail lines from Champa to Jamga and Pendra Road to Anuppur, as well as the MGR (Merry-Go-Round) system that links the Talaipalli Coal Mine and the NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Station (STPS).

According to the statement, the train projects will stimulate socioeconomic growth by enabling both passenger and freight transportation in the area.

The ambitious PM Gati Shakti-National Master Plan for multi-modal connectivity is driving the development of the Chhattisgarh East Rail Project Phase-I, which consists of a 124.8 km rail line from Kharsia to Dharamjaygarh, a spur line to Gare-Pelma, and three feeder lines linking Chhal, Baroud, Durgapur, and other coal mines.

The rail line has electrified broad gauge level crossings and a free section double line with passenger amenities. It was constructed for about Rs 3,055 crore. It would enable the transportation of coal by rail from the Mand-Raigarh coalfields in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.

Modi will also give one lakh sickle cell counseling cards to the screening population in an effort to address health issues brought on by sickle cell illness, particularly among the tribal people.

Controversy Surrounding Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s Death and Sikh Politics in Canada

Sikh Activists in Canada

Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the operational chief of the Khalistan Tiger Force, was killed extrajudicially on June 18 according to accusations made by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in front of the Canadian Parliament. New Delhi is still waiting for Ottawa to identify the assassin Indian agent and provide proof of the same.

The unconventional Canadian Prime Minister and his Foreign Minister continued to criticize India despite the fact that the Canadian police have stated that an investigation is still ongoing. He used intelligence from the Five Eyes partnership as the foundation for his “credible allegation”.

Events since the July 15, 2022, shooting death of Ripudaman Singh Malik in Surrey, British Columbia, a Sikh activist who had been cleared in the 1985 Air India Kanishka terror bombing, have been stitched together by Hindustan Times to demonstrate the toxicity of Sikh politics in Canada. Although Canadian Mounties detained two people, Tanner Fox from Abbotsford and Jose Lopez from New Westminster, the inquiry did not go into the assassination’s plot or the roles that Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Moninder Boyle played in the murder.

Sikh Activists in Canada

Ripudaman Singh Malik’s rivals used Fox and Lopez as hitmen; Malik had praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a letter written in February 2022 for his efforts on behalf of the Sikh community in India; however, the investigation into the conspiracy was never carried out because of the Justin Trudeau government’s vote-bank politics.Nijjar was shot by an assassin on June 18 in the same Surrey town where Malik was murdered a year earlier. Nijjar served as the KTF chief in Canada as well as the representative of the banned Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), a terrorist group run by dual national G S Pannu.

After Malik returned from India in 2019 having undergone a transformation, the Guru Nanak Temple and former President Moninder Singh Boyle of another gurudwara, Sri Dashmesh Darbar, along with their posse of radicalized local media, began persecuting Malik. After meeting with the Akal Takht Jathedar and SGPC representatives in India, Ripu Malik received formal approval from the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) to print copies of the Sri Master Granth Sahib (SGGS) at his office in Canada. Nijjar and Boyle started a full-fledged campaign against Malik and harshly denounced the Jathedar and the SGPC after fearing they were losing control of the Khalistan cause in the unremarkable Surrey town in the back of beyond BC, Canada.

Then, Nijjar, Boyle, and their radicalized Sikh gang launched a campaign against Malik by distributing false information that the SGPC should retract its approval of the Holy Book issued by the Kanishka bombing suspects because it was “beadbi” full of errors. Akal Takht Jathedar requested that the British Columbia Gurudwara Council remove all printed copies of SGGS from Malik’s property in response to mounting demand. The printing equipment was also taken away by Nijjar and Boyle right away, but they refused to give it back even when it was discovered that the Holy Book was error-free.
