Nitish Kumar’s Departure from INDIA and Sunita Kejriwal’s Future in AAP: Sanjay Singh’s Perspective

Sanjay Singh, a Rajya Sabha MP for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), stated that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s departure from the INDIA bloc was a significant blow to the opposition alliance and that history will not be kind to him. In the money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy, the Supreme Court recently discharged the AAP leader on ordinary bail.

On the India bloc and Nitish Kumar

According to Sanjay Singh, Nitish Kumar’s departure was the largest blow the India alliance has suffered yet. Singh stated in an interview that “the departure of Nitish Kumar ji was very unexpected. He was traveling from place to place, trying to unite opposition parties, before he joined the NDA. This kind of positional switching affects your image. I don’t dispute that you could be able to gain some advantages and power in the near future. But history will not be kind to you if you repeatedly change your allegiance. You can be remembered as a brave person or as a coward.”

Sanjay Singh stated that in order for the campaign to begin as soon as possible, the Congress should announce candidates for the India bloc in Delhi. According to him, the Congress and the AAP must get together and create a shared minimum program. Sanjay Singh commented that, in contrast to Nitish Kumar, Mamata Banerjee was not affiliated with the BJP when she decided to go solo in West Bengal. “The result in Bengal will be good, and the India bloc will benefit from it,” he stated.

Will Sunita Kejriwal lead AAP in her husband’s absence?

“No,” Sanjay Singh responded, emphasizing that Kejriwal will continue to serve as the chief minister and party convener. Because Arvind Kejriwal is incarcerated, she [Sunita Kejriwal] is the only one who can communicate with him. Through her, Kejriwal’s messages are getting to the party. There might be more channels of communication with Kejriwal if the court permits it. The party is currently having difficulties. The party’s primary goal is to promote its candidates,” stated Sanjay Singh.

Akhilesh Yadav: Lok Sabha elections are a struggle between ‘rakshak’ and ‘bhakshak’ of the constitution

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav said the Lok Sabha decisions in the nation are a challenge between the “rakshak” (defenders) of the constitution and its “bhakshak” (ravagers).

Tending a political race rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur, Yadav said people, in general, have upheld the Samajwadi Party and the India alliance in the surveys held up until this point.

“The breeze that was blowing against the BJP starting from the main stage has proceeded and attempted to dispense with the person who is sovereign of lies’ by casting a ballot against him,” Yadav said.

“The ongoing Lok Sabha surveys are an appointment of sacred agitation in which on one side there are ‘rakshak’ of the Constitution and on the opposite side there are its ‘bhakshak’. It is to save the nation’s Constitution, a vote-based system, and booking for poor people and the denied,” he added.

The Samajwadi Party pioneer attested that it’s presently time for people in general to address their complaints with the BJP.

“Assuming we take a gander at the records of the most recent 10 years, anything that the BJP said was misleading. Be it multiplying the ranchers’ pay, giving two crore occupations consistently, or diminishing expansion,” he said.

Yadav expressed that the BJP government pushed through three hostile agrarian regulations in the Lok Sabha, and when ranchers challenged them, blockades were raised and streets were fixed with nails to hinder their development.

“Albeit the public authority later pulled out those regulations, the battle for the base help value (MSP) is inadequate. The ranchers are as yet not getting the cost for their produce,” he added.

Focusing on State Head Narendra Modi, Akhilesh said, “We need to tell the people who need to become Vishwa Master that except if the pay of our ranchers builds, they won’t get the MSP, neither will our ranchers be cheerful nor will our nation become created.”

The head of the Samajwadi Party guaranteed that for the last 10 years, the BJP government has excused advances adding up to ₹16 lakh crore for significant industrialists, yet it has failed to do likewise for ranchers’ credits.

Yadav further guaranteed that the ranchers’ credits would be postponed, assuming the India alliance shaped the public authority in Delhi.

Supreme Court to Consider Interim Order on Arvind Kejriwal’s Bail on May 10

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court said that it could rule on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s request for bail on Friday, May 10. In a hearing, Justice Sanjiv Khanna informed ASG SV Raju of this, according to the news agency. Kejriwal’s bail request was considered by the Supreme Court on Tuesday, and the decision was postponed. In light of the upcoming election, the top court stated during the hearing that it did not want Kejriwal to carry out his official obligations if he was granted temporary parole. Abhishek Singhvi, Kejriwal’s attorney, argued that if Kejriwal is granted temporary release on bond, he will not sign any official documents as long as the lieutenant governor of Delhi does not reverse judgments just because Kejriwal did not sign them.

Assume that, because of the elections, we give you temporary bail. Saying that you will go to work might then have a domino effect. We wish to avoid a conflict of interest if you conduct official tasks after we grant you temporary bail. The bench informed Singhvi that they did not want him to meddle in any way with how the administration operated. “First, let us determine if interim bail can be granted or not,” the court informed Kejriwal’s attorney. The Enforcement Directorate rejected Kejriwal’s bail request, claiming that giving him temporary parole would amount to establishing a distinct class of people just for politicians and that there should be no mercy offered to him due to the election.

“It doesn’t matter to us if the situation involves a politician or not. Each person engaged has a unique situation or condition. With elections coming up, we are just thinking about whether this case calls for an exemption or if the individual in question is in an extraordinary situation,” the bench stated. At present, there are over 5,000 pending lawsuits nationwide concerning Members of Parliament. If they post bail, will they all be freed? Does a politician have greater importance than an agriculturist with a harvesting and sowing season? Attorney General Tushar Mehta expressed his willingness to testify before the ED.
