Saffron Scoop | Not Just Vibing with Gamers or Influencing Influencers—4 Moves from PM’s Playbook to Charm the Youth

With the Lok Sabha decisions almost a week absent, a certain Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a bunch of expert gamers from India to examine gaming and the yearnings of the youth. The 73-year-old PM too attempted his hand at a few well-known recreations, and social media proposes Gen Z can’t get enough of them.

With as many as 1.82 crore first-time voters this year, Modi’s move is being seen as an offer to win them over. But this is not the first time he has thought out of the box to charm India’s youthful population.

This is of course the most recent brainchild of the Prime Serve, as he met seven of the best gamers in a room at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg—the official home of the PM—that was enlightened in neon lights, reflecting the vibe of the era of the individuals he was meeting.

Animesh Agarwal, Naman Mathur, Mithilesh Patankar, Payal Dhar, Tirth Mehta, Ganesh Gangadhar, and Anshu Bisht were among the gamers welcomed to chat with the Prime Serve, whose recordings will be discharged this Saturday morning, said government sources.

Most of them are in their twenties and have scaled victory in the world of gaming. For instance, Animesh, who calls himself “Thug,”  is the CEO and MD at 8BIT Creatives and co-owner of Creature Gaming. They may have accomplished a part early in life but are in numerous ways like other Gen Z individuals, said sources. No, ponder, a few of them strolled into the PM’s home wearing untucked shirts, and a few were in hoodies.

And it took a few minutes for the Prime Serve to tap with them. “Even if I were to educate my father, he wouldn’t be as comfortable (as PM Modi was) on the first try,” said one of the gamers.

Payal, the oldest lady in the bunch, said, “I didn’t feel the age gap between us when we met him.” One of them couldn’t offer assistance but conceded after the assembly: “The greatest influencer of India is our Prime Minister.”

So, sometime recently, in the common races, PM Modi sent out a solid message to the 1.82 crore first-time voters that he is not approximately energized and parliamentary talks about but is as “cool” as they are.

EYES ON THE ‘PRIZE’
Social media influencers and advanced makers hold influence in the virtual world. Millions of computerized makers on Facebook, Instagram, X, and other stages—a few with millions of supporters—make substance on social media. To begin with, the Modi government has chosen to set up the National Makers Grant for them.

Tech master Naman Deshmukh stowed the “Best Creator” grant in the instruction category, and Gaurav Chaudhary, aka Specialized Guruji, won the “Tech Creator” grant. “Best Disruptor of the Year” was Ranveer Allahbadia. It was a full house of those whose reels are a day-to-day go-to for millions of youthful Indians.

While presenting PM Modi to the audience, Shamani, a motivational speaker with two million devotees on Instagram, said, “His reels go viral, his tweets end up in patterns, and his trademarks have become hashtags. He is the influencer of the influencers.”

Young India did take note of who their influencer was being impacted by.

Focus on NCC
While the National Cadet Corps (NCC)—India’s biggest formally dressed youth association—hhas been around for a long time, PM Modi put an uncommon push on this wing of the equipped strengths that have for the most part been teenagers.

The Prime Minister has, as of now, laid out the plans for the development of the NCC in border and coastal regions. In an Autonomy Day discourse in 2021, he declared a modern part for the association in 175 such districts.

1 lakh cadets are being prepared by the Armed ForcesDiscuss Drive, and Naval Forces. A third of them are young lady cadets. The preparation of the foundation for NCC is being fortified. As against the Fair One terminating test system prior, 98 are being set up beneath this government. Miniaturized scale flight test systems are also being expanded from 5 to 44 and paddling test systems from 11 to 60, the PM said in one of his discourses to NCC cadets.

This year’s camp saw the largest-ever cooperation of young lady cadets, 907, on Republic Day. Like his interaction with gamers, PM Modi proceeds to reach out to youths with his centre on the NCC.

Game Arrange with Sports Stars
Gone are the days when the Prime Minister would send out a social media post for Indian sportspersons’ accomplishments on universal occasions like the Olympics, World Glass, or Asian Recreations. PM Modi calls up each victor to salute them, knowing completely well how passionately numerous adolescents take after sports.

Not fair cricket, which besides gets some consideration, but in the final few years, the PM has called up champs in boxing, badminton, and track and field events.

He indeed met Nikhat Zareen, Manisha Moun, and Parveen Hooda, who won decorations in the World Boxing Championships, and, on requestmarked their t-shirts. In 2021, when he met a group of sportspeople at his official home, he guaranteed PV Sindhu got her ice cream, which he “promised” sometime recently at a tournament.

However, he did not share the great times with them. In 2023, he demonstrated his ability to be a bolster for the Indian cricket group when it was misplaced in the World Container. Going inside the dressing room, he comforted numerous people who were on the brink of breaking down.

Narendra Modi knows the dialectpropensities, and desires of the youth. That is why he can talk approximately “labharthi yojana” in a political rally but reach out to youths with a “vibe check.” He gets what PUBG is and casually talks about it, almost like talking to schoolchildren.

No-ponder pro gamer Payal Dhare, who is in her twenties, didn’t feel any age gap between her and the 73-year-old Prime Serve.

Maharashtra Politics: Piyush Goyal Addresses Leadership Speculation After BJP’s Key Review Meeting

After the BJP’s dismal showing in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, union minister Piyush Goyal said the party was developing a plan for the Shiv Sena-BJP-NCP alliance to win the assembly polls, which are scheduled for later this year. Goyal also ruled out any changes to the party’s leadership in Maharashtra. “There will be no change in leadership in Maharashtra,” Piyush Goyal informed reporters during the Maharashtra BJP’s core group meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday, which included party president JP Nadda and Union home minister Amit Shah.

Rao Saheb Patil’s appointment as state president was rumored. There was also much conjecture in the state regarding the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Ajit Pawar, staying in the ruling coalition. The BJP officials reportedly talked about how to guarantee the MahaYuti alliance’s reelection in the next assembly election, according to Piyush Goyal. Senior BJP officials BL Santosh, Bhupender Yadav, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, the state BJP leader, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Chandrakant Patil, Pankaja Munde, Raosaheb Danve, and Vinod Tawde were among those present at the meeting, according to the news agency.

The BJP lost its 2019 tally of 23 seats in Maharashtra to win just nine in the Lok Sabha elections of 2024. In Maharashtra, the BJP-Shiv Sena combination had secured 41 of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 elections. With one NCP member and seven Shiv Sena members led by Eknath Shinde, the total number of seats held by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) today is 17. Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, had made the offer to leave the Shiv Sena-BJP-NCP MahaYuti coalition in order to concentrate on leading the party to victory in the September–October assembly elections.

Following the meeting, Devendra Fadnavis declared, “We have prepared a blueprint for the upcoming assembly elections and how to win it along with the MahaYuti alliance partners.” He also mentioned the party’s performance in the Lok Sabha elections during the conversation at the BJP headquarters. In the latest Lok Sabha elections, the difference in votes between the ruling MahaYuti and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) was barely 0.3%, according to Fadnavis. The leaders also held a detailed discussion about the BJP’s advantages and disadvantages.

Swati Maliwal Seeks INDIA Bloc Support Amid Assault Case, Cites Lies and Death Threats

Swati Maliwal Seeks INDIA Bloc Support Amid Assault Case, Cites Lies and Death Threats

Swati Maliwal, a Rajya Sabha MP for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has made public a letter she wrote to the leaders of the INDIA group, demanding a meeting to resolve her assault accusation involving an assistant connected to a significant alliance member.

Key aide to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, whose AAP is a member of the INDIA group, Bibhav Kumar was detained in May on charges that he had attacked Maliwal at the chief minister’s official residence. Kumar’s judicial custody was extended last week by a Delhi court till June 22. “I have addressed a letter to each of the major INDIA alliance leaders over this matter today. Maliwal wrote on X, “I’ve requested a time for a meeting with everyone.

‘A SMEAR CAMPAIGN’

The former chief of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) released a letter she wrote to NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on X. In it, she claimed that rather than receiving assistance, she was the target of victim shaming and attacks on her reputation from members and leaders inside her own party. “To damage my credibility, reputation, and character, a smear campaign was organized on electronic and social media platforms. I have received several threats of rape and death as a result of the lies propagated against me,” Swati added.

“I have personally seen the suffering and loneliness a survivor experiences in her battle for justice over the course of the last month. The severe victimization and character assassination I have experienced would deter other women and girls from reporting abuse. Please give me some time so we can talk about this important matter. For the same, I’m awaiting your reaction,” she continued.

The duty metropolitan magistrate granted Bibhav Kumar’s custody extension and ordered the Delhi Police to appear him on June 22 after he was produced via video conference last week. The investigating officer (IO) was not present, thus the court decided to extend Kumar’s custody by one day earlier on Friday. May 18 saw Kumar’s arrest.

A magisterial court noted that his arrest rendered his anticipatory bail petition null and void, and then placed him under five days of police custody that same day. He was placed under judicial custody for four days on May 24 and then was placed under police custody for three days once more. On May 16, Kumar was charged with several offenses under the Indian Penal Code, including criminal intimidation, assault, and use of force on a woman with the purpose to disrobe and attempt to commit culpable homicide.

Rahul Gandhi Targets PM Modi Amid NEET-UG 2024 Exam Scandal After Supreme Court Criticizes NTA

Prime Minister Narendra Modi came under fire on Tuesday from Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for allegedly “remaining silent” about the anomalies in the NEET-2024 exam. Rahul Gandhi launched another assault on the prime minister shortly after the Supreme Court criticized the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Center, ruling that any “0.001 percent negligence” in the way the NEET-UG 2024 exam was administered should be dealt with severely.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said nothing about how the NEET exam scam is endangering the future of almost 24 lakh kids, as is customary. Arrests in BJP-ruled Bihar, Gujarat, and Haryana make it abundantly evident that there was systematic and organized corruption in the exam process, with these states serving as the hub for the paper leak, Rahul Gandhi wrote on X in Hindi.

“We committed to safeguarding the future of the kids by passing strict legislation against paper leaks in our manifesto. The Congress leader said, “We are committed to strongly elevating the voices of the youth across the nation, from the streets to Parliament, and pressuring the government to develop such stringent policies, fulfilling our responsibility as the opposition.”

Admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other relevant courses in government and private universities across the nation is determined by the results of the NEET-UG exam, which is administered by the NTA.

Prior to Modi taking the oath of office for a new term, Rahul Gandhi attacked him on Sunday earlier this month over the NEET-UG medical entrance controversy, claiming that the purported “irregularities” in the test had devastated over 24 lakh students.

Rahul Gandhi gave students around the nation assurances that he will speak out for them in Parliament and bring up concerns pertaining to their future.

NEET-UG exam row: SC says any negligence should be thoroughly dealt with.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate)-2024 dispute should not be handled as adversarial, the Supreme Court stated on Tuesday, pointing out that students must work hard to prepare for these exams.

A vacation bench consisting of Justices Vikram Nath and SVN Bhatti warned the advocates appearing for the Centre and the NTA, “Even if there is 0.001 percent negligence on the part of anyone, it should be thoroughly dealt with.”
