Uday Saharan and Sachin Dhas: India’s Dynamic Duo Shattering Records at ICC U19 World Cup

Young player Sachin Dhas, who is named after Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, produced an outstanding innings on Tuesday in the U-19 World Cup 2024 first semi-final match against South Africa to help Team India overcome a top-order collapse. Team India defeated the hosts by a thrilling two wickets in Benoni with to some brilliant stroke play from Uday Saharan and Dhas. After saving India from a dire 32 for 4, the batting pair put together a winning partnership of 171 runs for the fifth wicket.

Sachin top-scored for Saharan and Co. in the U-19 World Cup’s opening semi-final, smashing 96 off 95 balls to help India overcome the difficult 245 mark in 48.5 overs. Sachin, who is well-known for his ability to knock a six, will turn 19 on Saturday. Sanjay Dhas, Sachin’s father, named him after cricket great Tendulkar. Saharan’s father also wanted to become a cricketer
