PM Modi

In his 103rd Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign to honour brave soldiers who have died in war.

Numerous events will be held nationwide in honour of the invincible martyrs under this.

According to the prime minister, lakhs of village panchayats around the nation will also have unique inscriptions placed in their honour. In addition, the Amrit Kalash Yatra, which will bring soil in 7,500 urns from all corners of the nation, will end in Delhi. Additionally, the Yatra will transport trees from various regions of the nation. By merging the dirt and saplings that would arrive in 7,500 urns, Amrit Vatika will be constructed close to the National War Memorial. PM Modo continued, “This ‘Amrit Vatika’ will also turn into a big emblem of ‘Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat.

Additionally, he praised the NDRF troops for saving the lives of several victims of floods and severe rain this year.
“Floods in a number of rivers, including the Yamuna, have caused suffering for people in many different places. Landslides have also occurred on hillsides. In the country’s west, Gujarat was recently affected by the Biparjoy cyclone as well. However, PM Modi claims that despite all of these catastrophes, we as countrymen have once again shown the power of teamwork.

Additionally, according to PM Modi, America returned to India more than 100 unique and ancient artefacts, dating from between 2500 and 250 years ago. You’ll be happy to know that these special items have connections to numerous regions of the country. These are made of terracotta, stone, metal, and wood. Some of these will have you scratching your head. If you gaze at them, you will be entranced by them. A magnificent sculpture made of sandstone that is from the eleventh century is one of these. The PM said on Mann Ki Baat that the “Apsara” dancing seen in this piece of art is a Madhya Pradeshi dance style.

In addition, PM Modi praised the women of Uttarakhand for maintaining the “Bhojpatra,” a former cultural artefact. “I’ve gotten a lot of mails from women in Uttarakhand. These are the women who in October of last year gave me a special piece of art depicting Bhojpatra. I was similarly astonished when I got this present. After all, these Bhojpatras have housed our sacred texts and literature since antiquity. The Bhojpatra was also used to write the Mahabharata. These Devbhoomi women are still producing exquisite crafts and Bhojpatra-era souvenirs today. I had admired this special effort while visiting Mana village. I had urged visitors to Devbhoomi to spend as much money as they could on regional goods while they were there. There, it has had a significant influence, the PM added.

During the 103rd episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that India had taken significant action against drugs. “It was destroyed after we seized a batch of drugs weighing roughly 1.5 lakh kilogrammes. Additionally, India set a record by eliminating 10 lakh kilogrammes of narcotics.

The identities of four pilots training for the country’s historic “Gaganyaan” human spaceflight program were made public by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. The pilots are Group Captain P Balakrishnan Nair, Wing Commander S Shukla, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, and Group Captain Angad Pratap. The four astronaut-designates also received “astronaut wings” from the PM. “I’m happy I got to meet these astronauts and present them to the country today. Let me extend my congratulations to them on behalf of the entire country. Prime Minister Modi said, “You are the pride of today’s India,” in his speech.

He went on to say, “India’s accomplishments in the space industry are raising the young people in the country with a scientific temperament.” At Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala’s Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), Prime Minister Modi made a brief visit to the Gaganyaan Mission development. S. Somanath, the chairman of ISRO, Federal Minister Muraleedharan, and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan stand next to him.

About the Gaganyaan mission

The first manned space mission from India, Gaganyaan, is scheduled to launch in 2024 or 2025. After a three-day mission in a 400-kilometer orbit, the project intends to safely return a three-person crew to Earth by landing in Indian Ocean waters. An ISRO press release states that the mission is carried out using an optimal plan that considers the intellectual ability of university and research institutions, industry expertise, internal knowledge, and cutting-edge technology accessible to international organizations.

The human rating of ISRO’s CE20 cryogenic engine was successfully finished last week, greatly assisting India’s attempt to launch the mission. On February 13, 2024, ISRO completed the final round of ground qualification testing, marking a major advancement towards the human rating of its CE20 cryogenic engine. The human-rated LVM3 launch vehicle, designed for the Gaganyaan missions, has a cryogenic stage powered by a CE20 engine. The ISRO stated in a statement that the last test was the eighth in a series of vacuum ignition experiments that were conducted at the High Altitude Test Facility at To simulate flight conditions, the ISRO Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri, is being used.

Enforcement Directorate Sends 8th Summons to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

In connection with the money laundering investigation involving the excise policy, the Enforcement Directorate has sent Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal his eighth summons. The AAP leader had ignored the seven prior summonses. According to reports, the agency has requested that Arvind Kejriwal appear before it on March 4. Kejriwal disregarded the seventh summons on Monday, stating that he would only appear before the Enforcement Directorate at the court’s request.

Kejriwal has been the target of a court case in Delhi brought by the Enforcement Directorate since he has ignored multiple summonses in the last few months. In response to the seventh summons, the Aam Aadmi Party stated that it was being pressured by the BJP-led central government to leave the Congress-led India alliance. The next hearing on the case is set for March 16 in the judicial system. Rather than delivering these summonses daily, ED needs to await the court’s directive. The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) is something we will not abandon, and the federal government ought not to exert such undue pressure on us, the statement read.

Kejriwal ignored the agency on November 2 and December 22 of last year, as well as on January 3, January 18, February 2, and February 19. He claims the summons is unlawful and politically motivated. Arvind Kejriwal was excused from personally appearing in connection with the Enforcement Directorate’s case by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court last week, with an extension until March 16. He had previously stated that the Delhi Assembly’s budget session prevented him from being present in person. He made a virtual appearance before the court.

According to Kejriwal, the BJP intended to sever ties with Goa, Gujarat, Delhi, and Haryana before the Lok Sabha elections. AAP minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has previously stated that the ED ought to await the court’s decision. “The CM did not approach the court; the ED did,” AAP leader Atishi had stated. Why don’t they wait for the ruling from the court? Their motivation is to bother us rather than debate legality or illegality. If ED was concerned about legality, it would watch for the legal system to work out.”

BJP Faces Major Setback as Karnataka MLA Cross-Votes for Congress in Rajya Sabha Elections

According to BJP chief whip Doddanagouda G. Patil, on Tuesday, Karnataka MLA ST Somashekar crossed over to vote for the Congress in the Rajya Sabha elections. Today’s election was for four state-level seats in the Parliament’s Upper House. Doddanagouda G. Patil, top whip for the BJP, declared that the party will call the MLA to task. “ST Somashekar’s cross-voting has been verified. We are talking about what needs to be done and what needs to be done,” he stated.

Before casting his vote, ST. Somashekar said something enigmatic. “I will vote in favor of those who assure me and give confidence that they will give funds for the water and other management in my constituency,” said the politician. In the wake of Somashekhar’s decision, the BJP appeared brave. Basanagouda R. Patil, a BJP MLA from Yatnal, stated: “Such things do occur occasionally. The party had made it clear that BJP-JD(S) candidates should be supported.”

Dinesh Gundu Rao, a Congress MLA, responded to the reports by saying, “We are all intact.” The BJP has made it a habit to employ any strategy to win.” Five candidates are participating: G C Chandrasekhar (Congress), Ajay Maken, Syed Naseer Hussain, JD (S) candidate Kupendra Reddy, and BJP candidate Narayana Bandage. In Karnataka, three Congressmen and one BJP MP are retiring. In a state dominated by the Congress, it is anticipated that the BJP will win just one seat more.

To gain a seat in the 224-MLA Karnataka Assembly and represent the state in the Rajya Sabha, a candidate must receive at least 45 votes. The Congress has precisely 135 MLAs, which is enough to elect Ajay Maken, Nasir Hussain, and G.C. Chandrashekhar as its three candidates. With 66 MLAs, the BJP can easily win the election of Narayana Bhandage, its major candidate and a party worker. Many Samajwadi Party MLAs in Uttar Pradesh are said to have crossed over to vote for the BJP.
