Mamata protests in the streets over the’manhandling’ of wrestlers in Delhi

Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, came to the streets on Wednesday to express her outrage over the reported abuse of wrestlers at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar when She sought the immediate detention of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the former president of the Wrestling Federation of India, who is suspected of molesting multiple female wrestlers.After the new Parliament’s three-day inauguration, they attempted to march in its direction.
Banerjee participated in a 2.8-kilometer protest march in her hometown of Bhabanipur, which started at the Hazra Road junction in the south of the city and finished at Rabindra Sadan, the eastern metropolis’s cultural hub.After the march, she declared, “We resolve to keep protesting against the BJP administration at the Centre till the offender is arrested.
“The BJP government at the Centre is unable to capture the culprits, even after the Supreme Court has rendered a decision.. On the contrary, I’ve urged the police to have the authority to detain TMC leaders if there are legitimate allegations made against them, she said.
In addition to many other sports figures and regular people, Banerjee was flanked throughout the rally by former football players Alvito D’Cunha, Rahim Nabi, and Dipendu Biswas, as well as women’s football players Kuntala Ghosh Dastidar and Shanti Mallick.
State minister Aroop Biswas and current minister and former cricketer Manoj Tiwary oversaw the rally that the sports department organised to show support for the wrestlers.who are protesting.
The wrestlers are calling for Singh’s arrest after he was accused of harassing several female competitors.
“The wrestlers, who have won many medals for the nation, had a day of disgrace today. It is dishonourable that these athletes, who have given their all to represent their nation in the Olympic Games, are now travelling to Haridwar to throw their medals into the river, according to Banerjee.
Today’s supporters of the wrestlers include athletes from Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, and Mohammedan Sporting Club.

Punjab Police Detain Congress Leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira in Previous Drug Case

Sukhpal Singh Khaira, a Congress government official and MLA, was confined by the Punjab police on Thursday morning regarding an old body of evidence that had been documented against him under the Opiate Medications and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Around 6:30 am, the Chandigarh home of SP Manjeet Singh and DSP AR Sharma was looked through by the Punjab police, who were in control.
During the raids, Khaira, the MLA from Bholath, broadcast live on Facebook, where he is seen yelling at the police and pleading for a warrant. The MLA stated that the matter had previously been dismissed by the Supreme Court, despite the police informed him that he is being detained in connection with an old NDPS case on their suggestion following an investigation by a SIT commanded by a DIG rank officer and two SSPs.
The MLA is being escorted to the Jalalabad police station, the cops can be seen instructing Khaira’s son Mehtab Khaira.
Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the president of the Punjab Congress, criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration over Khaira’s detention and dubbed it a “political vendetta” in the meanwhile.

Indian Intelligence Reveals Khalistan Terror Cells Flourish in Canada

Indian intelligence has uncovered concerning evidence pointing to the proliferation of Khalistan terror cells within Canada. This revelation underscores the urgent need for international cooperation to address the growing threat posed by extremist elements operating on Canadian soil.
Concerns concerning the existence of a Khalistan terror network operating in Canada have recently been raised by recent discoveries by Indian intelligence. Several Canadian citizens are reportedly connected to the banned International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) and the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) according to the report.
Gurjit Singh Cheema
Gurjit Singh Cheema, a 50-year-old Canadian citizen who is originally from Punjab, is reportedly an ISYF/KLF member who is actively connected to the “Singh Khalsa Sewa Club” in Toronto. Cheema is a truck driver that resides and works in Brampton, Ontario.
According to reports, Cheema traveled to India in 2017 to operationalize a module. He is accused of inspiring and radicalizing Gurpreet Singh Brar and Sukhmanpreet Singh after arriving in India. The dossier also states that Sarabjit Singh was persuaded to enroll in the module by Cheema.
Cheema is also charged with providing money and locally manufactured handguns to members of the module in Punjab, both of which are said to have been utilized for terrorist actions. Cheema is said to have procured a weapon shipment from the other side of the border for members of the ISYF module in May 2017 with the aid of Pakistan-based Lakhvir Singh Rode and the late Harmeet Singh, aka PhD, a KLF agent.
Gurjinder Singh Pannu
Another person listed in the intelligence report is Canadian citizen Gurjinder Singh Pannu, 28. Pannu, an ISYF/KLF activist who presently resides in East Hamilton, Ontario, is connected to the “Singh Khalsa Sewa Club” in Toronto.
The dossier claims that Pannu sent money to ISYF module members in India in March 2017 so they could buy locally produced weapons and carry out their operations. Additionally, he is charged with transferring money to Balkar Singh in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, in order to allow the shipment of locally produced weapons to module members in India.
Along with Gurjit Singh Cheema, Pannu is suspected of helping Pakistan-based Rode and PhD locate a weapon shipment from the other side of the border for ISYF module members in May 2017.
Gurpreet Singh Brar
One of the many pro-Khalistani individuals identified in the intelligence report is Gurpreet Singh Brar, a 38-year-old Canadian citizen with the passport number H1820001. Cheema is another active member of the “Singh Khalsa Sewa Club,” which is where he presently resides in Surrey, British Columbia.

Gurpreet Singh is charged with giving orders to gather firearms, which were allegedly acquired from Cheema and other places. The members of the ISYF module in Punjab were supposed to utilize these weapons.
