Mannara Chopra Reflects on Bigg Boss Conflicts: ‘Do You Know My Qualification?

It was quite the road for Mannara Chopra to get to the finals of Bigg Boss. Her sisters, Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra, were not mentioned by her when she was there. Priyanka’s achievement has been admired by Mannara, who recently discussed why she refrained from talking about it. When she brought up her family, she stated in a conversation with Siddharth Kannan that people could have assumed she was nepotistic.

They would have referred to me as a nepotistic child if I had adopted my family’s name. They would have said that I’m personalityless. They made up a new tale about how bad my connection was with my sisters now that I didn’t adopt their names. My relationships are in order. My mother taught me to be a caring child, and I am one too,” the girl remarked.

Priyanka Chopra, Mannara’s cousin, was Miss India when she was a teenager. Mannara discussed the influence Priyanka’s journey had on her, saying, “She had a strong impact on all the cousins.” She has consistently presented herself as a powerful, self-reliant lady. Growing up, I was inspired by her because I saw how independent she was in making purchases. She could do as she pleases, live in the nicest locations, and govern the globe as she sees fit. I picked up that trait from her. Something like that entered my system.

However, Priyanka counseled Mannara to put her studies first when she mentioned her passion for performing. “I was probably in Class 11 when I first expressed an interest in acting and the creative arts, and Priyanka Didi told my mother that I had to complete my education.” Education is the foundation for everything, she remarked. When someone spoke to me in a certain way even within the Bigg Boss house, I used to think, “Do you know what my qualification is?” I’ve never gotten into fights,” she declared.

Sahil Khan’s Evasion: Traveled Through 6 States in 4 Days Amid Mahadev Betting App Case, Sources Say

Sahil Khan, an actor and influencer, traveled across six states in four days to elude arrest before being taken into custody by the Mumbai police crime division on Sunday morning. Khan was originally from Chhattisgarh. Known for his parts in comedic films such as “Style” and “Excuse Me,” the 47-year-old actor departed from Maharashtra on April 25 and covered around 1800 miles in four days.

According to sources, Khan started his journey in Goa, moved on to Karnataka, and finally arrived in Hubballi city. In a private vehicle, he eventually arrived in Hyderabad. There, he dressed simply and covered his face with a scarf in an attempt to hide his identity. The insider went on to say that Khan fled to Chhattisgarh when the police followed him down while he was in Hyderabad. Even in Chhattisgarh, he passed through the Naxalite region, but the driver would not go that far at night.

When the authorities learned he was lodging at the Hotel Aaradhya International in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, they took him into custody. For seventy-two hours, the Mumbai police had been following the actor. They also took two cell phones and some cash from him while he was being held.

Khan has been detained because of his purported role in the Mahadev betting app scandal, which is said to have enabled illicit transactions and gaming. His appeal for anticipatory relief was denied last Wednesday by the Bombay High Court, leading to his arrest by the Special Investigating Team (SIT) of the Mumbai cyber police. Tamannaah Bhatia Requests Extension After Maharashtra Cyber Cell Summons in Illegal IPL Streaming Case: Report

In response to the Maharashtra Cyber Cell summons regarding the unlawful IPL match streaming issue, actor Tamannaah Bhatia has responded. While the actress has not yet released a statement to the media, she has asked the Cyber Cell to provide a later appearance date. On April 29, Tamannaah was scheduled to testify as a witness. Last week, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell invited Sanjay Dutt to make an appearance as well. However, because of his filming commitments, he too sought a later time. “Tamannaah Bhatia has informed the cyber team that she is not in Mumbai and could appear again at a later date,” sources said. Cyber Cell still hasn’t disclosed the revised date.

Tamannaah’s name was in the news last week due to an unlawful IPL match streaming issue. The illegal streaming of the 2023 Indian Premier League on the Fairplay App, which cost Viacom millions of rupees, has prompted Maharashtra Cyber to summon actor Tamannaah Bhatia to appear in court. Last Monday, she posted on X that she had been called to appear before Maharashtra Cyber on April 29. Tamannaah is said to have supported and advertised FairPlay’s Mahadev betting app, a subsidiary app.

Additionally, it was stated that around 20 influencers who had supported the FairPlay app on several platforms would probably be called very shortly to provide comments. Despite having the intellectual property rights (IPR) to broadcast the games, Viacom18 complained to Fair Play, the provider of betting apps, about streaming the IPL matches. As a result, a FIR was reportedly filed. Viacom18 lost more than Rs 100 crore due to illicit streaming. September 2023 saw the registration of the FIR. After the initial information report was filed, several celebrities were called in for questioning, including Tamannaah, Sanjay Dutt, Badshah, and Jacqueline Fernandez. In December 2023, one of the betting app’s employees was arrested.
