In Ahmedabad, Jasprit Bumrah becomes a member of the Mumbai Indians team before their IPL 2024 opener against the Gujarat Titans

Jasprit Bumrah missed IPL 2023 due to a back-push injury and will be making a comeback in the establishment competition this year. The star pacer joined the Mumbai Indians’ camp ahead of IPL 2024 and looked adapted for the season.

He drove GT to the title in their big appearance IPL season and took it up with a runners-up wrap-up final year. He joined MI in a stun exchange ahead of the sell-off and supplanted Rohit Sharma as the modern captain, in what can be called a move for the franchise. CSK take on Illustrious Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2024 opener on Friday. In the meantime, MI will open its campaign on Sunday, confronting GT in Ahmedabad.
