IPL 2024: Before the Season, the Mumbai Indians Release the First Look at Their Stars in Their New Kit
With the 2024 version of the IPL creeping closer, the joint-most fruitful side in the history of the competition, the Mumbai Indians, shared a promo of their unused drip. The Mumbai-based side shared a video with the caption “First See: Our Stars in Our Unused Kit’ on their social media handle.
The video highlights the stars of the side, counting Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Jasprit Bumrah, and newly-appointed captain Hardik Pandya, among others, parading the side’s modern shirt for the season. Mumbai overseen to rope in Pandya from the Gujarat Titans ahead of the season in a move that blended up a storm and topped it with a declaration that the 30-year-old all-rounder will supplant long-standing captain Rohit, who has made a difference for the Mumbai side to monstrous victories over the years.

Pandya was a part of the Mumbai Indians squad between 2014 and 2021, most recently making the switch to the newly formed Gujarat Titans in 2022. He shone in his first season as the captain of the Ahmedabad-based side as he drove them to the title in their first-ever offer for the silverware.
He proceeded his great run by taking the Gujarat side to the last of the taking after the season, as it were to lurch in the last jump as they misplaced the title to MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.
