Gujarat Titans Continues Winning Streak in IPL 2023, Despite Hardik Pandya’s Poor Performance

The defending champions Gujarat Titans have maintained their unbeaten run in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, winning both their opening matches. However, the captain of the team, Hardik Pandya, has had a disappointing start to the tournament, failing to make a significant impact in either match.

In the team’s first match against Chennai Super Kings, Pandya was unsuccessful both with the ball and the bat. He conceded 28 runs in 3 overs, without taking any wicket, and scored only 8 runs in 11 balls. Similarly, in the second match against Delhi Capitals, he gave away 18 runs in 3 overs and remained wicketless, and could only manage 5 runs in 4 balls while batting.

Despite Pandya’s poor performance, Gujarat Titans managed to win both matches comfortably, chasing the target on both occasions. With two wins in two matches, the team is currently at the top of the points table.

Gujarat Titans’ next match is against Kolkata Knight Riders on 9th April, and the team will hope for a better performance from their captain to continue their winning streak in the tournament.
