Google Introduces AI-Powered Proofreading Feature for Android Users

A “Proofread” tool in Gboard that is driven by artificial intelligence (AI) has begun to roll out from Google, but it is now only available to beta users. According to media sources, Gboard version 13.4, which is presently in beta for Android, adds the “Proofread” option to the keyboard’s toolbar and enables users to have their writing instantly evaluated for spelling and grammar mistakes using generative AI.

In the meantime, Google has stated that it will revamp the Android brand, using a capital “Android” instead of all lowercase characters and a 3D avatar for the insect droid emblem.

The firm is raising the Android logo by capitalising the “A,” which gives it more weight when positioned next to Google’s logo. In addition to abandoning the lowercase stylization of “android,” the company is also changing the Android name.
