Fashion brands to Watch in Q3

Fashion companies should be viewed as enhancing everyday objects. As all living things, they must develop, change, and adapt as time and technology pass. Whether it’s a human being or any other living thing, the moment they stop thriving, they simply become stagnant and die. The age and generation of consumers influence how frequently needs, trends, and fashions change. Any brand that is successful will master the art of evolving and changing over time. For a fashion business to continue attracting customers of all ages, it must adapt to these shifts. To maintain loyalty, people from many generations and eras must feel unified by a brand.
Branding trends may be greatly influenced by a variety of factors, but one thing is for certain: the future will revolve around demonstrating how a particular brand upholds its core principles. One of the most well-known indices in the world, the Lyst Index, ranks fashion brands quarterly and keeps track of general brand and product excitement. The Lyst also takes into account data on global social media mentions, engagement, and activity. According to their rules, we tracked down the complete list and a milestone each company hit this season.
PRADA
The biggest paradigm shift for Prada occurred when it adopted an eco-friendly philosophy and heavily invested in recycled plastic for its ready-to-wear and accessories. PRADA’s narratives changed as a result of playing a significant role in the ethical development of society and in the removal of ocean plastic. The brand-new earn esteem comes from the recognition that it is making a significant contribution to reducing global warming and from the debut of the first jewellery collection produced from recycled gold. PRADA’s new CEO is Andrea Guerra, and this quarter, the company ranked first overall.
GUCCI
GUCCI’s sales of €2,581 Million in the third quarter demonstrated how solid and stable its position is. After Alessandro Michele resigned as Creative Director, Brand experienced some setbacks, but GUCCI and Alessandro jointly pioneered gender-fluid fashion, and Brand has persevered to maintain its position at the top. GUCCI became the first well-known luxury brand to create its own metaverse realm.
MONCLER
The €638.3 million in revenue that was earned by MONCLER in Q3 speaks for itself. For the celebration of the brand’s 70th anniversary, the first NFT was introduced. released Moncler Genius with an LFW presentation.
MIU MIU
For SS23, MIU MIU worked with artist Shuang Li with the goal of increasing sales in the lucrative Asian luxury sector. They were successful in their prediction that the Christmas Campaign dubbed “Private Wishes” would generate the maximum earnings. This year, MIU MIU, which is worn by Rosalia, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Nicola Peltz-Beckham, maintains its lead.

Shardul Thakur and Mittali Parulkar dress to the nines for their traditional wedding; see pictures
On February 26, Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur and long-term lover and businesswoman Mittali Parulkar were married in a traditional Marathi ceremony. Their stunning wedding attire has, as expected, taken social media by storm.
Parulkar chose an all-red bridal lehenga, while Thakur wore an embellished beige-toned sherwani for the special occasion. It goes without saying that the couple was stunning.
Designer Dolly J’s elaborately decorated raw silk lehenga for the bride was accessorized with a matching choli, belt, and translucent veil. Intricate zardozi work, paisley pattern, and multicolored Parsi threadwork were also included on her lehenga.
The bride chose a kundan set for jewelry, which included a striking necklace, earrings, maang tikka, and a headband. She also wore gold-toned makeup and had Shradha Luthra shape her hair into a tight bun with a middle part.
Previous to that, KL Rahul, a teammate of Thakur’s in cricket, wed actor Athiya Shetty in a private ceremony at Suneil Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala.
Also, Hardik Pandya and his wife Natasa Stankovic renewed their vows in a joyous wedding ceremony in Udaipur. Our cricketers appear to have caught the love bug!
Thakur is now participating in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) for the two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders cricket team. He had previously been a player for Delhi Capitals.

Why Is Everyone Wearing These Cartoonish Red Boots?
Neque porro quisquam est, qui dolorem ipsum quia dolor sit amet, consectetur, adipisci velit, sed quia non numquam eius modi.

At New York Fashion Week, a select few designer pieces become the favorites of the crowd. Everyone wore The Row’s minimalist strappy heels and tank shirts with the Prada emblem last year. Nevertheless, one shoe that was meant to go viral overshadowed dainty Manolos this past week: MSCHF’s huge red boots, also known as the Big Red Boot.
If MSCHF is foreign to you, they are the experimental fashion company that enjoys leveraging the launch of new products to make a statement (often controversial ones). They’ve created sandals made from Hermès Birkins, Birkenstock boots that mimic surgical casts, and even Satan sneakers developed in partnership with Lil Nas X that had a drop of actual blood in the soles. The brand enjoys testing the limits of fashion and, more importantly, making news. Today marks the launching of their most recent product, which resembles something Mario from Super Mario might wear. They have a $350 suggested retail price, a TPU rubber upper, an EVA midsole, and a video game-inspired design.
According to the press release for the boots, cartoonishness is an abstraction that liberates us from the limitations of reality. “These boots go boing if you kick someone,”
During New York Fashion Week, the enormous boots were spotted on famous people and street style icons. On Dorian Electra, who dressed them in a graphic coat, small skirt (to fully reveal the shoes), and a coordinating red beret, street style photographer for Vogue Phil Oh photographed them. TikTok celebrity and model Wisdom Kaye styled them with sports shorts, while model Sarah Snyder wore a shiny red skirt and white tights. Everyone appeared to agree that the statement boots should take centre stage (and it would be hard not to). A few celebrities have worn them as well, outside of the fashion world. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a basketball player, wore them to the arena before a game; Diplo wore them to attend a Knicks game; and Janelle Monae even dribbled a basketball while wearing them.
Given how strange and impractical the footwear is, it’s surprising to see how quickly—and widely—the fashion world has jumped on them, and that’s before they’ve even been published. They need a lot of effort to put on and take off, as seen in a number of TikTok videos. They are undoubtedly a commitment to wearing. But if there’s one thing that fashion enthusiasts adore, it’s a gimmick, and this season, these boots were the talk of the town. Points are awarded for taking a chance by wearing them. Yet, we have a sneaking suspicion that by next season they’ll be as outdated as a Nintendo 64.

Skirts are worn by men: a trend or a gimmick?
Sed ut perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremque laudantium, totam rem aperiam.

I’ll never forget my very first skirt-wearing experience. I had just witnessed the Peter Do runway presentation during New York Fashion Week, which featured pleated knee skirts worn over formal pants, back in September. I made the decision to visit my nearby Starbucks to try it out for myself because I was feeling sassy. I wore a black blouse over a black pleated skirt that I bought used, with black dress pants underneath. As soon as I walked in, my favourite barista yelled, “Okayyy, skirt.”
I’ve always thought of skirts as being gender-neutral clothing. Being an Ojibwe, I grew up seeing guys frequently wearing skirts to our yearly summer powwows. But I’ve never taken the risk in front of others since I was afraid of being judged and laughed at. I was happy to see that nobody even batted an eye as I walked home holding my gigantic iced coffee. The lack of interest in my attempt at wearing skirts surprised me, but it was also pleasant. (It also helps that celebrities like Conan Gray, Brad Pitt, Odell Beckham Jr., Lil Nas X, and others have been wearing them out.)
While it’s true that most New Yorkers are unfazed in general, my first successful effort at skirt dressing gave me the courage to add even more to my collection. I’ve since become addicted to buying them. The market being stocked with men’s options for once may have something to do with my expanding collection of skirts. Although it is simple to look for a women’s skirt, it can be challenging to choose the correct size; when I’ve tried to buy several in the largest women’s sizes, they barely fit over my knees. Instead, more and more stores are starting to carry skirts in specifically designated men’s sizes, so I no longer need to wing it or hope it will fit.
For example, the sleek leather Rick Owens skirts and pleated Thom Browne skirts on Ssense now have waist sizes ranging from 28 to 40. Also, I’ve had my eye on printed designs from Liberal Youth Ministry and Chopova Lowena, both of which come in sizes small to XL. Although this selection is not as size-diverse as it could be, offering skirts in sizes specifically for men is a positive move. A black, asymmetrical Airei skirt with a tattered border is my newest addition to my basic grey Thom Browne skirt collection. I’ve been liking wearing them with my chunkier knits, like my brand-new Zankov sweater with a checkered pattern.
