Delhi Capitals’ Rasikh Salam Fined for IPL Code of Conduct Breach in Clash Against Gujarat Titans

“Language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a another player” are covered under Article 2.5.

As indicated by the IPL set of rules, Article 2.5 covers any words, deeds, or motions that a player utilizes against an excused hitter that could impel a forceful reaction from the hitter, whether or not a response happens, or that could be deciphered as belittling or trashing the excused player, whether or not the player feels dehumanized or derided themselves,

Dar took the match referee’s punishment after acknowledging his wrongdoing. The decision made by the Match Referee is final and enforceable for Level 1 violations of the Code of Conduct.
