As the RCB squad is ready to celebrate an important milestone, star batsman Virat Kohli was once again in awe of the enthusiasm and loyalty that the fans have shown to the club. The 250th game between RCB and SRH will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday, April 25.

The social media account of the RCB  shared an entrancing film highlighting the players. In the video, Kohli discussed the fans’ faithful reliability to the team and their 17 years of support.

“Loyalty, actually that straightforward and they continue showing instances of unfaltering support, commitment and loyalty towards the team that they love so a lot,” Kohli expressed in the video.

Even though the squad hasn’t won a championship in the previous 16 years, the star batter has always commended the supporters for their dedication to the team. Like the supporters, Kohli has always supported Bengaluru. He has frequently reiterated his long-standing ties to the franchise.Since being signed by the team in 2008, the hitter has participated in 245 games, scored 7642 runs, and had a record of 8 hundreds and 52 half-centuries.

Pant smashed five fours and eight sixes during his blistering performance. Unfortunately, one of his massive sixes resulted in a cameraman from the BCCI production crew being hit during the tournament.

Pant apologized to the crew member and wished him a speedy recovery in a video message sent after the match, alongside DC head coach Ricky Ponting.

“Sorry Debashish bhai, I did not intend to hit you, but I believe you will recover well and wish you luck,” Pant said in a video published by IPL on their social media account on X.

Pant has returned to competitive cricket in fine form after more than a year recovering from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in December 2022. The ongoing IPL is his first competitive event, and he’s been fairly effective with the bat and behind the stumps as well.

“Every day that I’m in the middle, I feel better,” Pant remarked after the game on Wednesday. “Every hour on the field is valuable; I enjoy being on the field. I strive to give everything my all, which sometimes takes some time. I believe that the first six points in a match give me confidence in the game. The longer I spend in the core, the better I feel.”
